Meet Stanley Leary – a jack of all trades.
Stanley is a photographer, digital asset management consultant and storyteller. He’s a longtime PhotoShelter user, and has brought many of his corporate clients onto Libris.
Stanley is working with Chick-Fil-A to help craft the brand’s image as a photographer and Corporate Communications Consultant. We all know the “Eat Mor Chikin” cow and the bright red Chick-Fil-A logo.
Now, Stanley is taking us behind-the-scenes.
Chick-Fil-A powers its visual communications with visual asset management. Stanley encouraged the company to move its extensive photo library onto Libris, which has streamlined how teams share photos both internally and externally.
Stanley started his career as a photojournalist, so he knows the power of visual storytelling. He has also learned the importance of adding metadata to his photos to create an easily searchable media library. Now, he leverages his news background to help Chick-Fil-A and other organizations use visual asset management to get the most out of their photos.
That metadata makes it a lot easier for Chick-Fil-A’s team members who need to find photos of events like the NYC Grand Opening earlier this fall. Whether they’re sharing photos internally with corporate team members and store employees or sending photos to news reporters, visual asset management speeds up their image delivery process.
There are almost 2,000 franchised Chick-fil-A restaurants that employ 70,000 team members. That adds up to a lot of people who need to access and share images. The company’s Libris library has a download log that can go as high as 7,000 downloads in a day. Stanley explains that the different teams within the large organization tend to be in silos, and his role is to connect them.
As an Editor on Chick-Fil-A’s Libris account, Stanley grants access to team members who need images, which helps the company make the most out of their valuable assets.
With Libris, Chick-Fil-A’s teams can stretch their budgets, cut back on waste and avoid the common challenges facing companies that don’t have digital asset management system.
In fact, Stanley explains that as Libris helps Chick-Fil-A organize and keep track of visual assets, the system saves the company money.
But one of the things Stanley loves most about working with PhotoShelter isn’t a product feature or a budget-stretching outcome – it’s the people.
Check out this quote from Stanley’s blog, Leary Storyteller.
Many on their staff are shooters as well so they understand us photographers. This morning I was helping with a client’s Libris account and called and talked to Jon… Jon solved my problem in just a couple of minutes. I had not correctly setup some files and he told me how to correct it and even offered to do this for me. WOW!!! I am a raving fan of PhotoShelter.
Customer service is one of the most important values for Stanley and his team at Chick-Fil-A, and we’re glad to hear that’s something we share.
Big thanks to Stanley Leary for making us smile and taking us behind-the-scenes at Chick-Fil-A!
