Top travel brands use visual storytelling to catch people’s attention and inspire them to explore.
In fact, research shows the role of visual storytelling in travel and hospitality is on the rise. In our 2016 study on the lifecycle of visual assets in hospitality and travel with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), 85.71% of respondents said the volume of new images and video combined had increased in the last year compared to other years.
Now, we are looking for teams that are pushing the limits and setting a high standard for visual storytelling in the travel and hospitality industry.
Do you work for a hotel, destination, attraction or travel brand that is blazing a trail with high-quality visual content? At HSMAI’s prestigious Adrian Awards ceremony on February 20, 2018, we will present the second annual Pioneer in Visual Storytelling Award, and we want to consider your team’s work!
The deadline to enter the Adrian Awards competition is September 15, 2017 – enter today!
About the Pioneer in Visual Storytelling Award
Nominees for the Pioneer in Visual Storytelling Award will be evaluated based on high-quality production value of images and/or video, compelling storytelling across platforms, use of forward-thinking formats, innovative distribution and demonstrated impact on their audiences.
We want to see the work of brands that use visual assets to inspire an emotional response, motivate audiences to take action and help the brand meet strategic objectives.
Nominees for the Pioneer in Visual Storytelling Award are selected from the Gold winning entries.
Libris is a premier sponsor of the Adrians, alongside Google, National Geographic Traveler and TravelClick.
Get Inspired by Our 2017 Award Winner
Last year, we reviewed hundreds of award-winning campaigns, but one brand in particular stood out from the rest.
At HSMAI’s Adrian Awards on February 21, 2017, we presented the first ever Pioneer in Visual Storytelling Award to Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism. The Canadian province wowed us with its ‘Broader Palette’ campaign, which also won a Platinum, a Gold, a Bronze and three Silver Awards at the Adrians.
‘Broader Palette’ hit all the marks with powerful storytelling, gorgeous visuals and demonstrated impact on Newfoundland and Labrador’s audience. Learn more about what made this campaign a showstopper.
