When your goal is to capture and share a moment ASAP, sometimes you need to edit your photos and videos on the fly.
During our latest on-demand webinar with Bell’s Brewery Digital Content Specialist Fritz Klug, one of our viewers asked the question, “What are your favorite photo and video editing apps?”
Turns out, Fritz is an iPhone enthusiast (he even has a blog about shooting with his phone) and had a ton of recommendations for great editing apps.
Check out Fritz’s answers below, and share your own favorites with us @getlibris!
Digital Content Specialist Fritz Klug’s Top Apps for Editing Photos and Videos
I switched over, I don’t know, about a year ago for the syncing in between iPads and iPhones, and that’s really great.
It’s made for the iPhone, and it’s really easy to use. It’s fun to create your own preset filters. I do that a lot for Instagram, my personal Instagram, but it’s also great to do some quick editing.
I’ve had so much fun with this app this year. It allows you to do long exposures, freehand, and it uses the live photo feature in the iPhone to be able to create a video out of it, as well.
It’s a RAW camera app that’s really fun to use.
5. FiLMiC Pro
It’s a great video app, and they just came out with a camera app called Firstlight that’s really cool and has some fun filters.
This was the first app that got me super excited about mobile photography.
When you have to do something on the fly, I’ll use iMovie.
This one is pretty close to a Premiere or Final Cut Pro. You can crank stuff out and do a bigger project on the go with it.
