The Best Social Media Moments from Baseball Opening Day 2019

We’ve been counting down the days since October 28, 2018, and now it’s finally happening. Major League Baseball Opening Day.

Needless to say, we’ve spent the day sitting on the edge of our seats, waiting to see what our favorite teams will do on social media. #OpeningDay 2019 was packed with stunning photography, thumb-stopping videos and eye-catching graphics. Here’s a quick look at some of the best social media moments of the day – which we know is just a taste of what’s to come this season!

Play ball!

First up, an exciting hype video from the defending World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. This team wowed us with their Wall of Wins in 2018 – can’t wait to see what’s up next!

All eyes are on Philadelphia and their newest superstar, Bryce Harper. As if he needed to do anything else to win over fans, Harper wore Phanatic cleats on Opening Day – and the Phillies wasted no time showing them off on social media.
